Description
The Expert Machine Builder is Axis Automation’s most demanding technical individual contributor, responsible for complex custom industrial machine builds, tight-tolerance assemblies, novel mechanisms, prototype and R&D work, and robotic-cell integration. The role leads difficult mechanical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, contributes to build standards and fixturing, mentors builders, interfaces with mechanical and controls engineers, and represents the company at customer sites and FAT/SAT events. It requires at least eight years of custom industrial equipment experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and approximately 20% travel, with an hourly wage of $29.00 to $34.00 plus overtime and travel pay.
