Description
The Product Safety Specialist will support global compliance with Safety Data Sheet, classification and labelling, chemical legislation, and dangerous goods requirements. The role provides technical expertise in hazard and dangerous goods classification, translates regulatory requirements into SAP EHS systems and automated classification algorithms, trains and supports the organization, and makes product stewardship data available for health risk, process safety, and sustainability reporting. Candidates need a bachelor or master degree in chemistry or another natural science, at least two years of classification and labelling and SDS experience, and expertise in GHS, CLPS, REACH, and dangerous goods classification.
