Description
Supports the education process for students who are deaf and hard of hearing by facilitating accurate communication between students, teachers, hearing peers, and other school personnel. The role serves as part of the student's educational team and includes interpreting/transliterating academic and extracurricular activities, occasional tutoring, collaboration with teachers of the deaf and school staff, staff orientation on hearing loss and interpreter use, and promoting self-advocacy. The position runs from June 24, 2026 through July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday, and requires an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher plus relevant educational-setting experience.
