Michigan State University Extension is hiring a full-time, fixed-term Meat Industry Extension Educator to provide statewide leadership and research-based educational programming for meat producers and small- and medium-sized meat processors in Michigan. The role develops and evaluates programs, supports regulatory and food-safety training, creates multimedia educational materials, collaborates with community and partner groups, and serves as a statewide point of contact for program needs. The position is based in one of the listed Michigan counties, with an expectation to work from an MSU Extension county office and flexibility to work from the Ionia County office.
