Description
The Extension Program Assistant/Associate supports Northampton County 4-H programming by establishing and recruiting clubs, assessing county needs, developing summer youth programs, partnering with schools, planning and evaluating programs, networking for community resources, and reporting program effectiveness. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Jackson, North Carolina, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional night or weekend events. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education, youth-program experience, and knowledge of the 4-H Youth Development Program are preferred. A valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, and the anticipated hiring range is $32,562 or more.
