Description
The Automotive Lighting Engineer owns the integrity, evolution, and in-house design of exterior lighting systems, bridging mechanical, electrical, software, and optical engineering. The role supports applications across headlamps, taillamps, CHMSL, fog lamps, and license plate lamps, while developing embedded software for network integration and lighting animations, presenting technical reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering or a related field, five years of automotive lighting or similar component experience, CAD and CAE proficiency, and experience across software development, testing, electrical engineering, and systems engineering.
