Rivian is hiring an Exterior Trim Engineer in Irvine, California, to design automotive exterior trim components, develop system requirements, complete and release component and subsystem designs, and collaborate with suppliers on vehicle development milestones and prototype or production builds. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, at least five years of automotive exterior or bumper-component experience, knowledge of plastic manufacturing and tooling, feasibility and packaging study skills, and hands-on Catia V6 experience.
