Description
The External Affairs Director will serve as PPSE’s primary advocacy and communications strategist, leading public affairs, local advocacy, community relations, and communications across Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The role manages the affiliate’s reputation and public face, advises leadership on policy and brand issues, develops communications strategies, serves as a spokesperson, manages crisis communications, builds external partnerships, represents PPSE at community events, and coordinates with PPFA/PPAF on Georgia advocacy. The position is based in Atlanta or Birmingham, reports to the Chief Communications Officer, and offers a salary of $90,000–$100,000 plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
