Description
The External Mortgage Loan Originator guides members and non-members through first-mortgage loan origination, including referrals, online inquiries, and walk-in traffic. The role involves explaining loan programs, reviewing conditions, collecting documentation, managing loan pipelines, coordinating with real estate agents and builders, supporting mortgage education, and cross-selling additional products. It requires at least two years of experience supporting Mortgage Loan Originators and five years of experience originating or processing first-mortgage loans, along with active NMLS Mortgage Loan Officer registration.
