Modoc County Behavioral Health Services is hiring a part-time/as-needed Transporter/Safety Attendant to transport behavioral-health consumers to and from appointments and facilities and monitor their safety, including observing concerning behavior, communicating with healthcare teams, and using de-escalation techniques. The role requires a current Class C California driver’s license, a clean driving record, at least five years of driving experience, confidentiality, public-interaction skills, and professional adherence to department policies. The normal attendant shift is eight hours, while transportation shifts vary by destination and need; the salary is $20 per hour with longevity increases and no county benefits.
