Description
The Extra-Help legal assistant supports attorneys by researching and applying criminal, constitutional, and administrative law; preparing opinions, pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and reports; interviewing victims, witnesses, clients, and penal-institution inmates; appearing in court under direct supervision; and advising clients. The role is limited to 25 hours per week, does not provide county benefits, and requires current enrollment in an accredited law school or the third or fourth year of a law-focused undergraduate program.
