Americhem is hiring a 1st Shift Machine Operator for its Liberty, North Carolina manufacturing facility. The role operates and monitors production equipment, performs basic machine setups and changeovers, checks product quality, collects samples and production records, troubleshoots basic equipment or production issues, performs routine cleaning and machine care, and handles materials with forklifts or tow motors. The position pays starting at $17.00, offers holiday pay upon hire, and includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, paid time off, paid holidays, life insurance, and a 401(k) match. A high school diploma or GED, first-shift availability, basic math and measurement skills, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality are required; manufacturing, extrusion, plastics, machine operation, forklift, mechanical, and production equipment experience are preferred.
