Americhem is hiring a 2nd-shift Machine Operator at its Liberty, North Carolina manufacturing facility. The role operates and monitors production equipment, makes simple adjustments, assists with machine setups and changeovers, checks product quality, collects samples, completes production records, helps resolve basic equipment or production issues, performs routine cleaning and machine care, and handles materials with a forklift or tow motor. The position pays starting at $17.00, offers holiday pay upon hire, and includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, paid time off, paid holidays, life insurance, and a 401(k) match. A high school diploma or GED, basic math and measurement skills, teamwork, safety and quality commitment, and willingness to learn are required; manufacturing, extrusion, plastics, machine operation, forklift, mechanical, and production equipment experience are preferred.
