Description

ACT1 Federal is hiring an F-35 Combat Data Systems (CDS) Systems Engineer in Arlington, Virginia, to support the F-35 CDS Program Management Office. The role analyzes user needs, coordinates systems engineering activities, supports requirements and technical reviews, evaluates OEM development artifacts, tracks software certification and accreditation, and provides integration and interoperability support. It requires an active Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and at least five years of systems engineering, technical acquisition, or software system deployment experience, with a full-time in-office schedule and a salary of $120,000-$150,000.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, technical acquisition, or software system deployment
3+ years of experience in engineering design or requirements development
3+ years of experience with DoD acquisition
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with project management, acquisition support, or engineering with DoD aviation-related systems
Experience with weapon system sensor data, data fusion, combat identification, mission data files, or reprogramming labs
Knowledge of the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise and fourth- and fifth-generation fighter mission planning
Knowledge and experience working with an electronic warfare system or mission planning environment
