Description
Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing (JASM), TSMC’s first manufacturing facility in Japan, is hiring a fab operations leader to plan and direct semiconductor fab activities in a highly automated environment. The role focuses on coordinating with process integration and module engineering to produce high-quality wafers, maximizing fab capacity to meet customer demand, managing production schedules and output, and supervising subordinates to clarify responsibilities and support performance goals. The position is based in Kikuyo-machi, Kumamoto, Japan, requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience), strong project management and communication skills, experience in semiconductor manufacturing—especially 300 mm fabs—and direct experience with automation systems and optimization algorithms. Japanese fluency and conversational English are required, and relocation to Taiwan for extended training is expected.
