The role involves hand lay-up, mold and tooling preparation, resin and reinforcement selection, curing, finishing, inspection, process improvement, and fabrication of fixtures and manufacturing aids. Candidates must be United States citizens, obtain a secret security clearance, pass background and drug screening, and have at least five years of direct composite fabrication experience, including hand lay-up carbon fiber work.
