Description
The role assembles and fabricates metal cabinets, enclosures, bases, and other components by following customer specifications and engineering drawings, gathering materials, laying out parts, and welding them using MIG, gas, and arc welding processes. Responsibilities include installing specialized parts, inspecting weld quality, repairing and reshaping products, operating lifting equipment, coordinating with engineering staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires basic hand and power tool use, welding, blueprint reading, measurement accuracy, and prior experience with structural steel, welding, and grinding; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and forklift experience is preferred. The stated salary is $21–$28 per hour.
