Description
Micron Technology is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho. The role maintains and operates medium- and low-voltage systems up to 35kV, including switchgear, UPS units, transformers, VFDs, and controls and monitoring systems. Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, alarm response, equipment testing and calibration, and contractor coordination, while following safety, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standards. Applicants need at least three years of electrical industrial, semiconductor, or related experience or equivalent military experience, plus two years of maintenance experience; the schedule includes 12-hour shifts and potential day-to-night rotation every four months.
