Coherent Corp. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical systems in an optics manufacturing plant. The role covers compliance with industry and environmental standards, preventive and predictive maintenance, technical specifications, contractor and vendor management, budget monitoring, maintenance records, and performance and compliance reporting. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a valid PRC license, 4–6 years of facilities or mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of cleanroom and relevant codes, and project-management experience. The position is 100% onsite, may involve rotating shifts, overtime, and on-call duties, and requires personal protective equipment.
