Description
FirstLight is hiring a Colocation Facilities Engineer to oversee the installation, capacity augmentation, maintenance, and preventive operations of assigned colocation facilities and common systems. The role includes monthly capacity reporting, coordination with internal teams and contractors, oversight of infrastructure projects, troubleshooting of power, grounding, HVAC, UPS, and related systems, SP Marketplace documentation, and participation in on-call and emergency activities. The position requires proficiency with SP Marketplace, knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, ability to read CLR and power diagrams, and familiarity with installation and testing practices.
