Description
Amazon is recruiting a Data Center Facilities Engineer/Technician to maintain and manage the mechanical and electrical equipment supporting AWS data centers in Chiba Prefecture. The role responds to equipment failures, investigates and resolves technical issues, installs and removes data center equipment, monitors facility systems, manages maintenance vendors, and helps reduce operating costs. Candidates need at least one year of experience with facilities, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, control systems, or related equipment, or a basic understanding of these areas, and must be able to work non-standard shifts and safely lift approximately 18 kg of equipment.
