Description

The Facilities Engineering Manager oversees multiple multi-million-dollar capital construction projects rehabilitating New York City Transit subway facilities, including projects not managed by MTA C&D and engineering reviews of active MTA C&D projects. The role manages the full project lifecycle, reviews designs for compliance with New York State Building Code and NYCT standards, coordinates contractors and end users, and responds to facility emergencies and critical incidents as needed. Applicants need a baccalaureate degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, eight years of related experience including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, or an equivalent education and experience; an NYS PE license is preferred.
