Description
The City of Gresham is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 to repair and maintain city buildings and grounds. The role performs HVAC and electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, painting, mechanical work, truck and forklift operations, contractor coordination, recordkeeping, and public and staff support. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 1–4 years of facilities, construction, repair, HVAC, electrical, or related experience, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. Required certifications include Building Operator Certification Level 1, CPR/AED and First Aid, OSHA aerial and truck-mounted boom lift certification, and OSHA forklift certification, with Oregon Limited Building Maintenance Electrician licensing initiated within 30 days.
