Description
The CNC Programmer develops, maintains, and optimizes programs for CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, and production systems in a steel fabrication environment. The role translates engineering drawings and 3D models into machine-ready programs, coordinates with Engineering, Production, and Quality, troubleshoots programming issues, maintains documentation, and supports new product launches and first-article prove-outs. It requires at least two years of programming experience in steel fabrication or metal manufacturing, the ability to read engineering drawings, and CNC fabrication programming experience; CAD/CAM and ERP or MRP experience are preferred. The position combines office and shop-floor work in a manufacturing environment.
