Description
The Facilities Manager oversees one to three units and up to 20 staff, managing facilities operations, budgets, vendors, projects, safety, emergency preparedness, inventory, and IT systems. The role directs and mentors facilities staff, improves workflows and environmental performance, and transitions properties from construction to operations. It requires at least five years of facilities operations and project management experience, vendor and budget management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and OSHA certification within the first three months. The position is full-time, exempt, and based in GLIDE’s Tenderloin neighborhood buildings.
