Description
The Facilities Mechanical Engineer supports the operation, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of building mechanical systems and industrial infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. The role includes HVAC and industrial cooling maintenance, mechanical equipment assembly and disassembly, mechanical and electrical documentation, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, automation and PLC programming, control-system commissioning, and participation in root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and experience with HVAC, industrial cooling, PLC programming, industrial automation, and mechanical equipment are required.
