Description
The Facilities Shift Engineer supports 24x7 data center operations by maintaining and repairing mission-critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, coordinating contractors and vendors, and developing and auditing operational procedures. The role also conducts inspections, troubleshooting, safety compliance activities, and reporting on performance metrics such as power quality and PUE. Candidates should have technical training in electrical, mechanical, facilities, or a related discipline, preferably at least three years of experience supporting mission-critical facilities, and strong knowledge of data center systems, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and CMMS, DCIM, and BMS tools.
