Description
The Facility Janitor reports to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor and performs daily environmental, waste, fire-safety, and janitorial duties throughout a production facility. Responsibilities include checking drains, emptying waste hoppers, disposing of resin and coolant drums, operating a drum crusher, maintaining fire lanes and walkways, removing nails and screws, managing acetone storage and disposal, filtering and recycling coolant, bailing cardboard, and sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and prior forklift and baler experience; physical duties include frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
