Description
The role is an exempt engineering position responsible for configuring, documenting, and maintaining plant process-control and data-management systems in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Duties include managing process-control systems, programming process logic and man-machine-interface software, overseeing subcontracted engineering and construction, maintaining engineering drawings and facility documentation, monitoring system availability, supporting operations and maintenance, and managing historical data for regulatory compliance reports. The position requires a B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, PC and AutoCAD skills, strong communication skills, and knowledge of Micro-DCS/PCC programming and PC-based HMI software; it is performed approximately 60% in an office and 40% in a facility with potential exposure to radiation, noise, dust, and temperature extremes.
