Facilities Technician at Live Parallel

Parallel is hiring a Facilities Technician for its new cannabis cultivation facility in Gainesville, Florida. The role begins October 12, 2026, on a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay of $19.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include maintaining building systems, performing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs, troubleshooting equipment, completing preventative maintenance, documenting work, and supporting facility projects. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid government-issued photo ID, at least 2-3 years of building-systems maintenance experience, blueprint-reading ability, tool proficiency, troubleshooting skills, and diagnostic equipment proficiency. Preferred qualifications include relevant contractor or technician certifications, MEP knowledge, commercial building equipment experience, maintenance training, and CMMS experience.
