Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Facilities Technician to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable working environment across its site. The role performs routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and emergency response for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, and general building infrastructure; coordinates contractors; maintains records and inventory; and carries out painting, carpentry, minor construction, space setups, and equipment installations. Candidates need 2–5 years of facilities maintenance or related technical experience, knowledge of building systems, the ability to read manuals and schematics, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a valid driver’s licence.
