Description
The Facilities Technician B performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, repair, and servicing of buildings, facilities, operating equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, bus stops, and related systems. Duties may include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, data and communications cabling, lock repair, welding, and operation of light- and medium-duty motorized vehicles. The role requires high school or GED-equivalent education, three years of equivalent skilled experience, a California Class C driver's license, and the ability to obtain additional transit-related licenses; public transit or governmental experience is preferred.
