Description
The Facilities Technician C performs semi-skilled construction, alteration, maintenance, repair, and servicing work on District buildings, facilities, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems. Duties include preventative maintenance, inspections, minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, data and communications cabling, lock repair, and operation of light- and medium-duty motorized vehicles. The role requires high school or GED-equivalent education, at least one year of skilled journey-level facilities experience, a California Class C driver's license, and the ability to obtain additional required licenses; public transit or governmental experience is preferred.
