Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician independently maintains and repairs church-owned meetinghouses, recreation camps, welfare and seminary facilities. The role covers scheduled and emergency preventive maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sound, mechanical, flooring, masonry, roofing, and other building-system repairs; work-order documentation; inventory and purchasing; safety compliance; fleet vehicle operation; contractor coordination; and mentoring other facility-maintenance and technician staff. The position requires a high school diploma, five years of related experience or equivalent education, OSHA and safety-policy compliance, technical communication, computer and Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.
