Description
The Facilities Technician operates and monitors industrial utility systems, including NH₃ refrigeration, 150 PSI natural-gas boilers and steam systems, compressed air, HVAC and AHUs, fire protection, and security systems. The role performs routine checks, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, work-order generation, contractor coordination, documentation, and emergency response, while supporting reliability and continuous improvement. It requires a high school diploma or GED, offers preferred industrial training and NH₃ or boiler credentials, and seeks 3+ years of industrial utilities or plant operations experience. The position follows an eight-hour rotating schedule across midnights, afternoons, and days, with potential night, weekend, and holiday work.
