Description
The Director manages the administrative, supervisory, and programmatic operations of a correctional facility, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, Vice President Operations, and President. Responsibilities include overseeing personnel and operational policies, developing and evaluating programs, providing 24/7 staff coverage, recruiting and orienting employees, managing training and performance evaluations, maintaining offender files, auditing facility operations, coordinating with community and agency stakeholders, and supporting the President’s oversight. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science field plus related experience, or six years of correctional supervision or management experience.
