Facility Emergency Department Coder at KODE

The Hospital Emergency Department Coder reviews emergency department medical records and assigns ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M codes and charges with high accuracy. The role also audits physician documentation, updates charges, processes records, corrects coding errors, and provides training to improve coding outcomes. Candidates must have at least three years of hospital emergency department coding experience, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M experience, and an AHIMA or AAPC coding credential.
