Description
The Facilities Maintenance Engineer inspects, maintains, and repairs building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems. The role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, safety compliance checks, water-chemistry monitoring, and CMMS recordkeeping. Candidates need experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, a technical or trade school certification in one of those areas, 3–4 years of facilities maintenance or engineering experience, and relevant licenses or certifications such as a boiler operator or stationary engineer license, EPA CFC certification, HVAC certification, and Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facilities Operator certification.
