Description
Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing (JASM), a TSMC-backed semiconductor foundry in Kumamoto, is hiring a Facility Engineer to manage and improve facility power and water treatment systems for its front-end semiconductor fabrication plant. The role focuses on operating pure water, wastewater, chemical recycling, and cooling water systems; analyzing parameters, alarms, and SPC charts for preventive maintenance and energy optimization; performing risk analysis and root cause investigations; and collaborating with TSMC global sites. Candidates need a technical/scientific background, Japanese business-level proficiency, strong communication and logical reasoning skills, and the ability to work night shifts. Preferred qualifications include experience in water/mechanical/control/environmental engineering, semiconductor industry experience, English/Mandarin ability, and relevant safety/environmental certifications.
