Description
The Facility Maintenance Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a campus facility maintenance department serving approximately 4 million square feet of buildings and infrastructure. The role plans and directs maintenance activities, schedules and supervises technicians, lead workers, supervisors, and contractors, manages preventive maintenance and safety programs, supports vendor and budget management, and coordinates with campus stakeholders. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, at least five years of progressive facility maintenance management experience, and at least three years of supervisory experience. The position may work evenings and weekends, requires a valid driver’s license, and may involve hazardous materials, heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
