Clay County is hiring a full-time Facility Maintenance Worker in Liberty, Missouri, reporting to the Facility Maintenance Lead and Supervisor. The role performs plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, mechanical, security-system, and groundskeeping maintenance; responds to emergencies on an on-call rotation; and maintains County tools, mowers, and vehicles. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, basic computer and communication skills, and the ability to pass a drug-screening test. The position requires routine county travel, outdoor work in varying weather, and the ability to drive in inclement weather.
