Q-Block Computing is hiring a full-time, permanent Facility Manager in Ottawa to lead the physical buildout of a 30,000-square-foot advanced laboratory and then take long-term ownership of the building. The role is hands-on and multi-trade, combining construction and maintenance work with subcontractor coordination, contractor management, permitting, budgeting, procurement, and transition to ongoing facility operations. Candidates need journeyperson or Red Seal certification or equivalent substantial experience, at least five years of practical commercial construction, maintenance, renovation, or multi-trade experience, and the ability to perform work across electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC trades. The position offers an $80,000–$120,000 CAD annual salary and extended health, dental, and vision benefits.
