Description

The AWS Facility Operation Center Technical Specialist supports global 24x7x365 data center life-safety and infrastructure monitoring, leads critical-site and large-scale event analysis, identifies systemic infrastructure issues through data-driven analysis, and drives corrective actions. The role also owns FOC documentation, SLAs, metrics, workflows, training, learning content, certification mechanisms, and global projects, while mentoring and leading team members across regions and functional areas.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production
Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations with electrical and mechanical infrastructure knowledge
Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure
