Google is hiring a Facility Technician to operate, monitor, and support physical data center facilities, including HVAC, power, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing systems; assisting senior technicians; developing cost-reduction and efficiency strategies; ensuring environmental and safety standards; and managing performance issues and outages. Candidates need at least four years of data center or relevant operational experience and two years managing technical teams and vendors; a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
