Description
The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University (USU) is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) systems. The position requires a Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, and will be considered at either the assistant or associate professor level. The role involves developing a research program, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and participating in departmental duties. Specific areas of interest include AAM design, development, modeling, flight testing, system identification and control, unmanned traffic management (UTM), and environmental impacts. The start date is anticipated to be August 2025.
