Description
Mayo Clinic is recruiting a full-time, exempt neuroscience research faculty scientist to establish a robust research program focused on neurodegenerative and related diseases. The role requires a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree; an Associate Professor or Professor rank or equivalent; a strong record of NIH and other federal grant funding; and experience in basic and translational research, model systems, cell biology, genetic engineering, and disease mechanisms. The scientist will collaborate across neuroscience, neurology, artificial intelligence, pathology, and laboratory medicine, engage in trainee education, and pursue large-scale research opportunities. The position is located at the Mayo Clinic Florida site in Jacksonville.
