SpaceX is hiring a Failure Analysis Engineer, Microelectronics (Starlink) to perform root-cause failure analysis on microelectronic components and packaging across manufacturing, test, and field environments. The role uses advanced electrical and physical characterization techniques, semiconductor failure physics, and corrective-action workflows to improve the reliability of Starlink satellites and user terminals. Candidates need a STEM bachelor’s degree and at least two years of hands-on microelectronics failure analysis or materials characterization experience; the position may require cleanroom or ESD-controlled work and overtime or weekend availability.
