Description
The Automotive Failure Analysis Engineer will serve as the communication interface for OEM customers, handle customer complaints, and lead failure analysis of electrical automotive parts at OEM plants, RBCW, and QMM laboratories. The role maintains claims in the I-QIS system, shares analysis results with the German plant, monitors quality statistics, and applies 8D and fishbone problem-solving methods. Candidates need a BS in electrical or mechanical engineering, a master's degree in vehicle engineering or a related field, more than three years of failure analysis or electrical-product testing experience, more than five years of automotive electrical-product experience, OEM complaint-handling experience, CAN diagnostic and calibration-tool knowledge, and knowledge of SW/HW design.
