This internship involves supporting the safety and occupational health team, assisting in accident and illness prevention programs, conducting hazard and risk assessments, preparing safety reports, helping with Workers' Compensation and safety committees, investigating accidents, participating in safety training, performing plant safety inspections, managing safety programs, ensuring compliance with safety laws, setting standards for PPE and machine guarding, developing ergonomics programs, reviewing equipment for safety, and other assigned duties.
