Description
The Family Advocate supports Head Start centers by recruiting and enrolling children and families, conducting home visits, developing Family Partnership Agreements, assisting with health requirements, connecting families to community resources, coordinating services for children with disabilities, maintaining records in Child Plus, and supporting parent involvement. The role requires a degree or associate degree in social work, education, or a related field, experience in social, human, or family services, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to pass background and fingerprinting screening.
